Mobile Plan Wire Storage
Mobile Plan Wire Storage - This versatile track and skate mobile plan storage shelving system provides access to rolled plans, drawings, maps or other documents where and when they are needed. Use of this revolutionary system that offers maximum storage density in a fraction of the normal floor area, enables users to consolidate and optimize storage needs to fit into any office, engineering or architectural setting. The entire shelving system provides maximum flexibility by allowing users to add or delete shelving units and adjust height or spacing between shelves. The use of wire shelving with its open architecture, rust proof chrome finish, better visibility, improved light and air circulation, reduced moisture and dust buildup, along with a more effective sprinkler suppression in the event of fire. Each unit is rated to carry up to 2000 lbs capacity. Systems can be placed in multiple rows with equal reliability. Track system is sold complete with wire shelving units, skate and V-grove tracks. Floor space is costly and has a direct impact on the bottom line. When you add up the costs for storage space - insurance, HVAC, and maintenance, every square foot becomes highly valuable. Multiple system placed end-to-end can be used to create systems of any length (one movable aisle every 30 feet is recommended). System meets NSF approved standards. Shipped K.D. System includes 74”H shelving with each unit having 11 shelves that are 24” or 36” in depth (the 24” deep units use a 36” movable aisle space, the 36” deep units use a 42” movable aisle space), and 36”, 48”, 60”and 72” in width. Units can store documents 24” and 36” in depths in each of the units 6” x6” openings. Shelving is completely flexible in design. Shelving unit is divided into columns with the use of steel rods that can be adjusted to increase or decrease the width of a column. Shelves are adjustable on 1” centers. By placing the shelves further apart to increase opening height or closer together to decrease opening height the shelving can be customized to meet specific needs. Each shelving unit within the system comes with two skate assemblies. Two V-grove tracks are included in lengths required to operate the system (the low-profile, non-corrosive V-grove track is constructed of ultra-durable high-performance anodized aircraft aluminum components) and all the hardware needed to make the system operational.
Completely modular in design, the mobile system utilizes a ball bearing skate that will allow mounted wire shelving units to glide with their loads smoothly over stainless steel which has been inserted into a aircraft quality V-grove aluminum floor tracks (shelving moves back and forth with ease). Specially engineered end-stops are shock-absorbing and do ensure that the wire shelving is always securely braked at the end of the track line.

The key to the system is its ability to use one movable aisle
to give access to all the wire shelving units that have been compacted.
When you need to access stored contents simply slide shelving apart
creating an access aisle between units.
Typical shelving systems wastes
half of the floor space
with aisles.
To create greater storage space, shelving is positioned together
without any aisles.

Cash Discounts
A 5% trade cash discount is offered from merchandise total excluding any freight for prepaid orders with check sent by USPS mail or express envelopes (USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.) This does not apply to payments by credit card since we are charged fees for processing the payment.

Bid Discounts
All requests for bids include the cost for merchandise, freight, volume and trade cash discounts. Each bid is reviewed based on the dollar value, type of product, and ship to location to determine if added discounts or freight allowances can be offered. Bids requested before 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time are processed and faxed the same day, after 3:00 PM processing and faxing is the next business day.

Freight Discounts
We have a standard charge of $34.95 for freight and processing of orders that are less than $100. Freight costs are computed based on ship to zip code location, fuel surcharge, freight carrier minimum charges and/or size and weight of products ordered. Freight charges are based on delivery to company docks. Carriers charge extra fees for residential deliveries, deliveries of large or heavy items needing a liftgate to unload to ground level, call before delivery request, inside delivery request (means carrier takes shipment off of truck and moves it to closest indoor location). For any special requirements please specify in Comments/Ordering Instructions area located near the bottom of the Order Form.

Due to our high volumes of shipments, the freight carriers we use offer us large discounts from their normal price structures. These savings are passed on to you, our customer, and added to your invoice. For customers with special relationships or contracts with their own carriers, and who would prefer for us to use those carriers, please supply us with the name of the carrier, carrier phone number, and your account number.
